This page is early in development. We will be adding state wide information on testing as we get the info and have time to update the page. You can help! If you know of testing activities not listed here send the web master a note.
Please also read the monthly Section News for announcements of classes and testing sessions. A link to the Section News can be found in the “News and Events” area on the right side of most pages on this site.

Volunteer Examiner (VE) Testing
On Demand Testing (and classes)
Frank Warren, AB5WJ, and his W5YI test team have offered amateur radio testing and classes (all levels) for over 23 years and give hundreds of tests each year. Frank and his team also provide testing services for all commercial licenses.
Frank needs at least 3 days notice to make arrangements for tests. Testing can be done for groups or a single individual. Classes are held throughout the year and can be specially designed for groups (e.g. Boy Scouts, search and rescue groups, etc).
While Frank and the team are in the Rio Rancho area it is possible (depending on the circumstances) for him to travel to other parts of the state, meet people half way, etc. All testing is done on computers that are supplied at test time.
In general, the team is very flexible and it would be difficult to cover all the options here. If this kind of service fits best with your (or your group’s) schedule then contact Frank and see what arrangements can be made.
