I reside in Albuquerque with my XYL Cindy, KC5TZF. I received my amateur license at age 16 and have been an active ham my entire adult life. Professionally my background includes the USAF, technician and engineering roles at Motorola, and am currently a design engineer for a commercial/industrial RFID supplier. My interests and expertise in ham radio encompass most of what ham radio has to offer, from QRP HF CW to satellites. Antennas are of particular interest, from theory and simulation to practical application. I am interested in helping out fellow hams enjoy the hobby more by solving technical issues.

Peter Naumburg, K5HAB
Peter is a great resource for many areas of Ham radio — especially HF. As you can see peter has a few radios and a modest antenna system

I first became interested in Ham Radio in 1962 while visiting my uncle George, W0AUR. I was first licensed in 1972 as KN4AQX.I attended college at Florida Institute of Technology. MIT and Cal Tech majoring EE,minor in physics. Later I was in the USAF as an electronics intelligence officer then transferred to OGA.I worked as field engineer with
Mesurex Corp (process control, mostly in paper mills) which had the worlds 1st major fiber-optics installation. At ADAC Laboratories I worked with digital medical imaging and radiation therapy. While with the USN Naval Calibration Lab – NAS Jacksonville, Florida - I worried about large worldwide system calibration. At Multprise, Inc – a 2-way Commercial Radio Shop in Clay County, FL – I was part owner and assistant manager.I was the owner of SW Clay Business Services – a communications and incentive marketing company.Interests:
- QRP
- Homebrew any and all electronics and physics including lasers.
- CW
- Contesting
- NM ARES District Emergency Coordinator
- Extensive emcomm experience.
- CW hi and low speed as well as SSB.
- ARRL Instructor- over 500 new hams past 20 years.
- ARRL VE
- Avid Ham Radio “Junque” collector- 3 car garage full.
- Learning digital modes and PIC programming now.

My “mission” as I see it now, is to support anyone doing experimental communications or activity at leading to the state of the art in hamville. This would include maintaining connection with ham radio nets or email plus the internet for information or solutions of problems.I can furnish info on frequency calibration, comparison of performance of antennas, explanations of rare propagation.
networking of important results, especially to the QST “column,” the World Above 50 MHz.”I maintain a regular schedule on the radio on 6M,2M,70cm & 23cm with stations in N. NM and AZ
and TX. I can also activate 222MHz as necessary or by request.I have been heard in the Albuquerque and Los Alamos area on 1296 MHz. Interest seems low and I currently helping or encouraging stations to get active on 23cm in this area.

My name is Bruce Campbell NK5W. I am a “transplant” from the Chicago area, where I earned my first Amateur Radio license in 1991.Rio Rancho, New Mexico is my home now, where I also work as an electrical/mechanical technician in manufacturing; troubleshooting and repairing controls and actuators for high-speed packaging machinery.I hold an Amateur Extra class license, and I like to contest- whether it be from home, a mountaintop, or as a rover. Experimenting with antennas, and fabricating new mounting hardware is an interesting part of ham radio, and contesting in particular, because you never know what conditions you will find at your next location. Versatility is an important asset.Participation in our local ham radio clubs, including the Upper Rio FM Society, and Ten-Ten International’s local 10 meter chapter have been an exciting experience, as well as serving on a Volunteer Examiner (VE) team
for eight years. My wife and I also like to trailer camp (with HF), and ride motorcycles.

Hello, I am James Boswell KA5SIW. I have been an amateur radio operator since 1984 and have worked for over 35 years as an electronics technician. Now I live near San Antonio, NM and have room to put up lots of antennas. For the past 3 years I worked for NRAO and now I work at the VLA.My shop at home allows me to repair older radios or electronic equipment. I have repaired Icom, Yaesu, Collins, TenTec and Heathkit gear. The older TenTec radios are my favorites.QRP has always interested me even if my CW skills are poor. At times you can find me on the local repeaters and working HF SSB. When the sunspots are active, 6, 15 meters are my favorites.Contact Info:
