    Thanks Guys;
    Tested on Sunday,
    will have my license as soon as they process it.
    Will see you on the bands.

    Dale;

    You have a few options to choose from, from self study on the internet both free and paid, to books to formal classes.

    I recommend going the ARRL site and poke around there a bit. You’ll find lots of information there about ham radio and licensing. I would also recommend joining one of the local clubs which will get you networking immediately.

    Don’t hesitate to ask direct questions, most hams are happy to help anyone get started.
