Welcome to the Amateur Radio Caravan Club portion of the ARRL New Mexico Section.
Our meetings take place from October through May and we adjourn during the summer.
Each September we have a Corn Feed for the club and their guests. We invite all hams who are interested in our club to attend. This year it will be on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Noon at Montgomery Park. We will be in the northeast corner of the park at the corner of Alvarado Dr. NE and Ponderosa. Fresh sweet corn will be prepared for all to enjoy. Please bring your own eating utensils, plates, drinks, and a pot-luck dish to share.
Our first meeting of the fall will be Friday, October 8, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church at 8600 Academy Rd. NE at the corner of Moon and Academy.
Listen for the Caravan Club Net on Sunday nights at 9:00 p.m. We can be found on the Caravan Club repeaters 145.33, 100 Hz tone, minus offset, and 444.00, 100 Hz tone, positive offset. These repeaters are cross band linked, although currently the 444.00 repeater has been pulled for repairs.
