Many of the members of ADXA regularly participate in amateur radio contests. These contests have a wide range of objectives, but all share the goal of improving the skills of already proficient amateur radio operators.
ADXA regularly encourages members to participate in the contests and submit the scores for club results.
Some ADXA members hold current world record scores or have held the world record in the past.
During some contests, such as the ARRL 10 M contest, New Mexico amateur radio operators can provide that extra multiplier that so many other stations need.
