Albuquerque DX Association Home

The Albuquerque DX Association is an ARRL sanctioned club that supports amateur radio activity in New Mexico.  As the name of the club suggests, we are generally interested in DX contacts, but we also have members who participate in contesting, DXpeditions, emergency communications, and other areas of amateur radio activity.  Most of the members live in or near Albuquerque, NM, but there are members who also live throughout New Mexico.

The call sign W5UR is issued to the Albuquerque DX Association.

Antenna Restrictions :  Hams are getting caught up in the regulations that local zoning authorities are enacting to control the construction and use of cellular phone towers.  During the 2002 NM State Legislature, NMPRB1 was able to write and get a law passed (HB314) that provides reasonable accommodation for amateur radio antennas.  NM became the 14th US State to enact such a law.
